The man behind these decks didn’t learn gaffs from books, tutorials, or collectors. He learned them where mistakes cost money. For decades he worked card rooms in Naples, Italy, and beyond — against hustlers, mechanics, gamblers, and anyone convinced they could beat him. These weren’t props to him. They were tools he lived on.

Every deck that leaves this shop comes from the same hands that carried them night after night.

He never ordered factory work. Never trusted machines. Every cut was done by hand on a worn mat with an old barber’s blade he’s kept for years. He cut, tested, adjusted, and cut again. If a stripper did not break clean under pressure, it was redone. If a belly flashed for even a second, it never left the lab.

That’s the difference.

A theoretical gaff is one thing. A gaff refined by a man who depended on it to survive real games is something else entirely.

For most of his life, he kept his craft a secret. This work stayed inside a closed world — made for himself, for partners, for the few people who already understood what they were holding. Only now is it being released outside that circle.
